Getting Started
ZooBlocks is a free block puzzle game that combines classic line-clearing mechanics with adorable animal characters. Your goal is to place animal blocks onto the grid, clear lines, match colors, and build your own zoo!
Basic Controls
- Drag & Drop: Drag blocks from the bottom tray onto the grid
- Tap to Place: On mobile, tap a block then tap the grid position
- Rotate: Some game modes allow rotation - look for the rotate button
Line Clears
Fill every cell in a row or column to clear it. Cleared lines disappear and give you points.
💡 Pro Tip: Clear multiple lines simultaneously for exponential score multipliers!
- 2 lines = 4x points
- 3 lines = 8x points
- 4 lines = 16x points
- And so on...
Color Matching
Place animal blocks adjacent to matching colors. When 3 or more identical animals connect horizontally or vertically, they pop and disappear!
✨ Combo Strategy: Combine line clears with color matches for massive combo scores. When a line clear and color pop resolve on the same cells, you score from both systems!
Level Goals
Each level has specific goals you must complete to progress:
- Score Goal: Reach a target score
- Line Clear Goal: Clear a certain number of lines
- Color Pop Goal: Pop a specific number of colored blocks
- Level Goal: Reach a specific level number
Complete all goals in a level to advance!
Diamonds & Zoo
Every puzzle score converts directly into diamonds. Use diamonds to unlock and purchase adorable zoo animals. Each animal generates passive diamond income every second!
🐾 Zoo Tip: The more animals you collect and upgrade, the more passive income you earn. Perfect for casual players!
